بكسر أوله، وبعد الألف راء، والصدار:
ثوب رأسه كالمقنعة وأسفله يغشى الصدر والمنكبين تلبسه النساء في المأتم، وقال الأصمعي: يقال لما يلي الصدر من الدروع صدار، والصدارة: قرية بأرض اليمامة لبني جعدة.
