الابتداع: إيجاد شيءٍ غير مسبوق بمادة ولا زمان، كالعقول، وهو يقابل التكوين، لكونه مسبوقًا بالمادة، والأحداث، لكونه مسبوقًا بالزمان، والتقابل بينهما؛ تقابل التضاد إن كانا وجوديين، بأن يكون الابتداع عبارةً عن الخلو عن المسبوقية بمادة، والتكوين عبارة عن المسبوقية بمادة، ويكون بينهما تقابل الإيجاب والسلب إن كان أحدهما وجوديًّا والآخر عدميًا، ويعرف هذا من تعريف المتقابلين.
Volunteers needed (having reasonably advanced knowledge of Arabic, and relatively good English): There are 20-40 dictionaries that can be added to The Arabic Lexicon once the digital versions are reviewed and any necessary corrections carried out (sometimes this can be done in a few hours).
