بكسر الذال المعجمة والنون: خيال من أخيلة حمى فيد، بينه وبين فيد نحو عشرين ميلا، ويقال لتلك الأخيلة الآذنات، والأخيلة علامات يضعونها على حدود الحمى يعرف بها حدّها.
