Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali (d. 1987 CE / 1407 AH) was a renowned Moroccan Islamic scholar fluent in English and German, best known for his English translation of
the Quran (with Muhammad Muhsin Khan) titled The Noble Qur'an. The present item is a short paper by him regarding non-Arabic words used in the Quran, in which
he seeks to correct misconceptions by previous scholars regarding the origins of certain words.
