inf. n. إِهْجَاءٌ, It (food) appeased his hunger; or caused it to depart, or cease. (

K.) هَجَأٌ Any state, or case, in which one has been, and which has ceased. (
K.) It also occurs without ء, هَجًا (
TA.) هُجَأَةٌ Foolish; stupid. (
