و ط ء : وَطِئْتُهُ بِرِجْلِي أَطَؤُهُ وَطْئًا عَلَوْتُهُ وَيَتَعَدَّى إلَى ثَانٍ بِالْهَمْزَةِ فَيُقَال أَوْطَأْتُ زَيْدًا الْأَرْضَ وَالْوِطَاءُ وِزَانُ كِتَابٍ الْمِهَادُ الْوَطِيءُ وَقَدْ وَطُؤَ الْفِرَاشُ بِالضَّمِّ فَهُوَ وَطِئَ مِثْلُ قَرُبَ فَهُوَ قَرِيبٌ وَالْوَطْأَةُ مِثْلُ الْأَخْذَةِ وَزْنًا وَمَعْنًى.
وَالْمُوَاطَأَةُ الْمُوَافَقَةُ.
