هِرْكاسة والجمع هراكس: حذاء ريفي من الجلد (فوك)؛ أنظر هركوس: حذاء بالٍ. ولعل أصل الأسم من البربرية لأن (سبّاط - sabate) أصلها بربري في قاموسها. وحذاء في لهجة سوريا.
