نمرق: نمرق (الأزرقي 174: 9). فأنظر إلى البيت يومئذ وعليه كسي شتى من وصائل وأنطاع وكرار وخز ونمارق عراقية أي ميسانية (الثعالبي، لطائف 15: 8). ولم يجلس على شيء من الأنماط ولا على النمارق التي على البساط.
نمارق: وردة في فارس والعراق تشبه الياسمين الأبيض (ابن البيطار 2: 260).

(س) فِيهِ «اشْتَرَيْتِ نُمْرُقَة» أَيْ وِسادة، وَهِيَ بِضَمِّ النُّونِ وَالرَّاءِ وَبِكَسْرِهِمَا، وَبِغَيْرِ هاءٍ، وجمعُها: نَمَارِقُ.
وَمِنْهُ حَدِيثُ هنْد يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ:
نَحنُ بَناتُ طارِقْ ... نَمْشِي على النَّمَارِقِ.
