فِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرو «فَإِذَا هُوَ يَرى التُّيُوسَ تَنِبُّ عَلَى الْغَنَمِ خَافِجَةً» الخَفَجُ: السِّفَادُ. وَقَدْ يُسْتعمل فِي النَّاس. ويَحْتمل أَنْ يَكُونَ بِتَقْدِيمِ الْجِيمِ عَلَى الخَاء، وَهُوَ أَيْضًا ضرْب مِنَ المُباضَعَة.
