[إزاء] نه: في قصة موسى عليه السلام أنه وقف "بإزاء" الحوض وهو مصب الدلو، وعقره مؤخره. غ: وما بينهما عضده. نه وفيه: فرفع يديه حتى "أزنا" شحمة أذنيه أي حاذتا، والإزاء المحاذاة والمقابلة، ويقال وازتا. ومنه: "فوازينا" العدو أي قابلناهم. ك ومنه: قد "أزى" بعض بني الزبير يعني في السن و"خبيب" روى بالرفع بدل من البعض، وبالجر بدل من ولد، وله أي لعبد الله تسعة بنين. باب الهمزة مع السين
