هرنع: الهُرْنُوع: القَمْلةُ الضَخْمة، ويقال: هي الصغيرة. قال عرّام: لا أعرفُ الهرنوع ولكنّه الهِرَنَّعة، وهو الحِنْبجُ والهُرْنُع، قال جرير:
يَهِزُ الهَرانعَ لا يَزالُ كأنَّه
