(لَتَّ) اللَّامُ وَالتَّاءُ كَلِمَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ. يُقَالُ: لَتَّ السَّوِيقَ بِالسَّمْنِ يَلُتُّهُ لَتًّا، وَالْفَاعِلُ لَاتٌّ. وَذُكِرَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ: لُتَّ فُلَانٌ بِفُلَانٍ، إِذَا قُرِنَ بِهِ. فَإِنْ صَحَّ فَهُوَ مِنْ بَابِ الْإِبْدَالِ، كَأَنَّ التَّاءَ مُبْدَلَةٌ مِنْ زَاءٍ.
