غرقل

Q. 1 غَرْقَلَتِ البَيْضَةُ The egg became rotten; (S, O;) the interior of the egg became corrupt: and thus غَرْقَلَ signifies said of the بِطِّيخ [i. e. melon, or water-melon]: (K:) or, said of the بطّيخ, it became hard. (O.) A2: And غَرْقَلَ He poured water upon his head at once; (IAar, O, K, TA;) inf. n. غَرْقَلَةٌ. (TA.) غِرْقِلٌ The white of an egg; as also ↓ غِرْقِيلٌ.
