(صَكَمَ) الصَّادُ وَالْكَافُ وَالْمِيمُ أَصْلٌ وَاحِدٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى ضَرْبِ الشَّيْءِ بِشِدَّةٍ. فَالصَّكْمَةُ: الصَّدْمَةُ الشَّدِيدَةُ. وَالْعَرَبُ تَقُولُ: صَكَمَتْهُمْ صَوَاكِمُ الدَّهْرِ. وَالْفَرَسُ يَصْكُمُ، إِذَا عَضَّ عَلَى لِجَامِهِ مَادًّا رَأْسَهُ. وَقَالَ الْفَرَّاءُ: صَكَمَهُ، إِذَا ضَرَبَهُ وَدَفَعَهُ.
