صَقَّ الحِرْباءُ يصِقُّ من حَدِّ ضرب، أهمله الجوْهَريُّ وصاحبُ اللِّسان، ونقَلَ الصّاغانيّ عَن الخارْزَنْجي فِي تكمِلة العَيْن قَالَ: أَي صَرَّ بِمَعْنى صوّت. وَقَالَ غيرُه: الصَّقُّ: صوْت المِسْمارِ إِذا أُكْرِه على الدَّقّ.
