صفراغون: هو عند ابن البيطار (2: 132، 159) عُقاب منسوري، عُقاب بحري. وهذا الاسم مأخوذ من عبارة ديسقوريدوس (الكتاب، فصل 58) وفيها: هو نوع من الطير يسمى بالفرنجية صفراغون ومنه الكلمة اللاتينية ossifragus.
