[مكك] مككت الشئ: مصصته. ورجل مَكَّانُ، مثل مَصَّانَ ومَلْجانَ، وهو الذي يرضَع الغنم من لؤمه ولا يحلب. وتمككت العضم: أخرجت مخّه. ويقال للمخّ: المُكاكَةُ. وفي الحديث: " لا تَمَكَّكوا على غرمائكم " أي لا تستقصوا. وامْتَكَّ الفصيلُ ما في ضرع أمه، أي شربه كله. ومكة: البلد الحرام. والمكوك : مكيال، وهو ثلاث كيلجات، والكيلجة: منا وسبعة أثمان منا، والمنا رطلان. والرطل: اثنتا عشرة أوقية، والاوقية إستار وثلثا إستار، والاستار: أربعة مثاقيل ونصف، والمثقال: درهم وثلاثة أسباع درهم، والدرهم: ستة دوانيق، والدانق قيراطان، والقيراط: طسوجان، والطسوج: جنتان، والحبة: سدس ثمن درهم، وهو جزء من ثمانية وأربعين جزءا من درهم والجمع مكاكيك.
