بالضم ثم السكون ثم فتح الراء، وجيم، وأهل هراة يسمونها غورة: قرية على باب مدينة هراة، منها: أحمد بن محمد الغورجي، مات سنة 305، وأبو بكر بن مطيع الغورجي، مات سنة 305.
