A2: تَسَنَّجْ مِنَ الرِّيحِ means اِسْتَذْرِمِنْهَا [i. e. Shelter thyself from the wind]: so says Aboo-'Amr Esh-Sheybánee. (O [and so, probably, in correct copies of the

MS. copy of the
K, اِسْتَدْرِ منها: in the
CK, اِسْتَدِرْ منها: in the
TA, strangely, استدَّر منها, and
expl. as meaning اُطْلُبْ منها الدَّرَّ: in the

app. having to choose only between the reading in the

Har p. 671 that السَّانِحُ also signifies المتطيّر المتفاّل, as though meaning The person auguring, or who augurs, evil or good, from birds: but I think that the right reading is المُتَطَيَّرُ بِهِ وَالمُتَفَأَّلُ بِهِ مِنَ الطُّيُورِ, i. e. what is regarded as an evil omen and as a good omen, of birds.]
