دَلانُ وذَمُورانُ:

قريتان قرب ذمار من أرض اليمن يقال إنه ليس في أرض اليمن أحسن وجوها من نسائهما، والزنا بهما كثير، يقصدهما الناس من الأماكن البعيدة للفجور، ويقال: إن دلان وذموران كانا ملكين وكانا أخوين وكل واحد منهما في القرية المسماة به، وكانا يختاران النساء وينافسان في الجمال ويستحضرانهن من البلاد البعيدة، فمن هناك أتاهنّ الجمال.
