الْمُؤمن: من آمن بِاللَّه وَرَسُوله. وتحقيقه على من حقق الْإِيمَان وَاضح. وَحكمه الخلود فِي الْجنَّة وَحكم الْكَافِر الخلود فِي النَّار وَيخْتَص الْمُنَافِق بالدرك الْأَسْفَل لقَوْله تَعَالَى: {إِن الْمُنَافِقين فِي الدَّرك الْأَسْفَل من النَّار} - وَحكم الْفَاسِق من الْمُؤمنِينَ الخلود فِي الْجنَّة - أما ابْتِدَاء بِمُوجب الْعَفو أَو الشَّفَاعَة. وَأما بعد التعذيب بِقدر الذَّنب خلاف للمعتزلة والخوارج. ثمَّ اعْلَم أَن الخلود فِي النَّار لَا يَقْتَضِي تعذيبهم بهَا دَائِما. وتفصيل هَذَا الْإِجْمَال فِي الْكَافِر.
