البارِحة: الليلة الماضية والعرب تقول بعد الزوال فعلنا البارحةَ وعن أبي زيد يقول: "من غدوة إلى أن تزول الشمس رأيت الليلة في منامي فإذا زالت قلتَ رأيت البارحةَ"، عن يونس يقولون: كان كذا وكذا الليلةَ إلى ارتفاع الضُحى وإذا جاوز ذلك قالوا كان البارحة.
